What is Perform Athlete?

Perform Athlete is a structured strength and conditioning program built specifically for acrobats - with dedicated tracks for bases, middles, and flyers, so your training directly reflects the demands of your role.

This isn’t just general strength training.
It’s targeted, performance-driven programming designed to build the strength, control, and resilience that actually shows up on stage - under load, under fatigue, and in high-pressure moments.

The structure is simple and intentional: 3 x 60-minute sessions per week, giving you focused, progressive training that fits seamlessly around training, rehearsals, shows, and life on the road.

For those between contracts - or ready to push their capacity further - there’s an optional 4th session too.

My story

I'm Shani.
Professional acrobat. Strength coach. Founder of Perform Athlete.
 

I've spent years building and refining a program that I genuinely wish had existed earlier in my career. One built on the belief that circus artists deserve the same level of structured, high-performance training as any elite athlete.
 

Nobody had created anything for us.
So I did.
 

My goal has and always will be the same - to raise the standard of how acrobats train, and give every artist the confidence to walk into the gym knowing exactly what to do and why.

Acrobat Strength Program

A structured strength program built specifically for acrobats, with dedicated Base, Middle and Flyer tracks to meet the demands of each role. Three 60-minute sessions per week designed to build strength that transfers directly to performance.

Smashlete Sessions

Whether you’re traveling, at show call, or simply without a gym, Smashlete Sessions use bodyweight and bands to keep your training consistent and strength progressing anywhere, anytime. 
Complimentary to all members on the Acrobat Program.

Schools Program

A progressive strength and athletic development program designed to build resilient, capable, high-performing young athletes. Focused on movement quality, strength foundations, and long-term development. Each program is tailored to the unique demands of circus, dance, gymnastics, parkour, and other movement-based disciplines.
